More of June!

Hello! I have some long overdue pictures to post from this summer! In June, Grandpa and Grandma Rankin, Aunt Janet, Uncle Dan, and Uncle Darrell all made their way to Duluth for a short weekend vacation. We packed a car full of people and headed that way to meet up with them for an afternoon. A must-see, The Train Museum!
Jacob went crazy, as we expected! He yelled at everybody over and over again, "You got your ticket?! Hop on board!" Then he repeatedly reassured us, "I got my ticket! Come on, let's hop on board!" Every train, over and over, that's all we heard the entire afternoon!
It was a very interesting museum and those trains are gigantic! I never imagined how big they were! It was a fun time!
I've also posted some pictures of Jacob flying his kite a couple months ago. He did a very good job!
The last set of pictures are from the Clearbrook Centennial Parade. Jacob and I went to see Scott in the Fire Department and Grandpa Anderson on his class float. Their float read, "Minnesota Bunion Grower's Association". They all had their feet wrapped up and held crutches or sat on wheel chairs. Quite comical!

Well, until next time!
Thanks for checking in! God bless! Scott, Kim, and Jacob

He would hardly stand still for pictures!

Kendall, Gretchen, and Jen showing us that they DO have their tickets to hop on board!

Massive train!

Silly!

The middle of the museum has a huge model train display! Really neat!

My favorite trains - the snow plows!

Flying his kite!

I think Scott is driving this truck.

The old 1927 (if I remember correctly) Clearbrook firetruck!
Our friend, Ryan, drove this all over to the local parades this summer!

Jacob with the Larson's.

Love them!!

Grandpa's float.

So glad to see your post. Isn't it fun to be able to see the train museum through Jacob's eyes? He looked excited. What a little boy out in the meadow flying a kite! Take care.
