HELLO!!! How are you all doing? We're welcoming the little bit of spring that we have been experiencing and are anxious for more! The weather hasn't warmed up to what I would like, but it's not below zero so I will count that as a blessing!
Calving season has been in full swing for Scott! It's been going well so far, knock on wood! I believe he's around 3/4 of the way done and has only been calving for about 2 1/2 weeks!
I spent my winter focusing on the fundraiser and now am getting into wedding invitation season, which is always fun and exciting! The fundraiser, in case you didn't hear, was a HUGE success! We received so much support and I believe everybody's efforts will make a big difference in the lives of people with VEDS! Thank you, everyone!
When we got back from Illinois a couple of weeks ago, Jake and I ventured to North Dakota to pick up the newest addition to the farm! Our friends had their first litter of Australian Shepherd pups and saved the one and only male for us! Huck has been great to have around! He's excellent with Jacob and he and our other dog, Ellie, seem to have hit it off! I thought I'd share a few pictures of him, since nobody's really seen him yet!
Again, I'd like to thank everybody for all of their support throughout the fundraising! I have high hopes for finding a treatment and am so grateful for everyone's gracious giving!

OMG!!!! MY LITTLE HUCKLEBERRY!!!!!! He is the cutest thing EVER!!! Ellie looks like she is smiling in the one picture. I'm so glad they became friends!!!! He is getting so big!!!
I can't wait to see him....if I ever get my booty up to Clearbrook...can someone please give me a loan so I can go see my friends!?!?!?! HAHA!

I am so glad that he is being a good boy and that Ellie hasn't tried to chase him off! Penny must be missing her babes. The other day she drug all of the toys they had in their pen out into the middle of the drive way and just sat there with them. Cant wait to come visit him!! (oh and you guys too)

Cute pup! Trent wants us to bring up some of his shorts when we come this weekend. I hear it may be near 32 degrees, shorts weather, at least in Minnesota! So glad to see your post. I haven't checked in quite awhile. I heard that you were making wedding invitations. That should keep you busy. I'm so sorry that we weren't able to be at the benefit, but from everything I've seen and heard it was more than anyone could have hoped for. What a wonderful community, that covers a very large portion of the midwest! Take care. I hope the spring weather comes and stays here for sure.
