Mr. Grumpy Goes Sledding

Sorry, for the time that has passed since my last post. I have been taking a lot of pictures, however haven't had the patience to sit down and spend time uploading them. Tonight, however, Scott is gone for the evening and Jacob is in bed so I thought I would take a few minutes to upload.
These pictures date back to last month, even before our young Mr. Grumpy had his first birthday. The Larson's gave Jacob a sled, or "Kinder Boggan" if you want to know the official name of it, for Christmas. Kori and Ben were visiting us after Christmas and Kori was thrilled to get to go sledding. She and Ben blew up Jacob's sled and Kori pulled him, Jacob that is, up and down the driveway. Jacob was completely comfortable having somebody pull him around while he enjoyed the scenery.
The Mr. Grumpy shirt came from Kori for Jacob's birthday. He was throwing a fit one evening while he happened to have that shirt on so I took the opportunity to show his grumpy side to all of our viewers! Though these not-so-happy moments occur less often than in the past, Jacob now performs the throw-myself-on-the-floor, screaming, hitting, and biting tantrum. I don't know where he gets that biting from! He recently discovered it as a defense mechanism and bit a boy at daycare twice yesterday. Then, he tried to bite and hit me three times tonight after being told, "No, you do not get to play in the fireplace!" I'm such a fun sponge sometimes, I know!
I will admit, I was concerned that our child would be one who thought his name was "No Jacob Arthur". However, much to my relief, he has started making a "no" sound and has not yet connected it with his name. Phew!

Thank you all for checking in! God bless! Scott, Kim, and Jacob

Must be the age! James does the biting hitting thing too and the temper tantrums. i love that he has a tantrum after I tell him he can't hit me. The words "be nice" also throw him into a fit of crying almost worse than no. I love your "fun sponge" discription!!

Love the Mr Grumpy tshirt!! It fits him well in those pictures! It looks like everyone had a good time. I miss not being able to jump in my car and come whenever I want. Kelly and I are trying to plan a trip up over the 4th of July if I can get the time off. I can hardly wait!!

Love you,
Aunt Gail

I love the pictures where he's all bundled up! I'm a little jealous of his coat. I actually have a job and don't have a cool Columbia coat!
