Yes, Jacob's lip caught his fall as he tumbled to the hard floor of our laundry room. Immediately there was blood and screaming. Then, the screaming stopped as a puzzled Jacob looked at me while he tasted, for the first time, the blood from his upper lip. m,b2EA6 <--- Jacob typed his thoughts for you.
I tried to put a cold washcloth in his mouth as tears were just about to roll down my face, however were not rolling down his at all. He didn't want anything in his mouth because he was too busy playing with the new chubby spot on his lip. All the time, I was praying that nothing happened to his new teeth. Everything seems okay; just a fat lip and a little blood. Not the last time it will happen, I'm sure.
Trying to take pictures of a child's lip is just about as impossible as trying to take pictures of their teeth. Here's the best pictures I could get and in one of them you can just barely see his tooth on the top.
I also posted a picture of one of Jacob's daring tricks. He's always sitting on his knees. Sometimes it lasts, sometimes not. Last night, he dared to stand without holding onto anything and lasted for a few seconds before he squatted to sit down. He's also quite comfortable with his walker now. He will pull himself up to it and walk across the floor pushing it. I'll try to get some pictures.

Kim, You are right - this won't be the last time. You seemed to handle it well. Sounds like Jacob handled it well too. Boys are big risk takers so most likely he will do it again. Sorry I'm not a good comment poster but I do look at all the blogs everyday.

Where is your picture of your boots? They are too big but I couldn't resist them. I picked them out and mom bought them for him. They were the cutest ones RCC had! We'll have to get the boys together for pics with their boots!
