Yes, yes, it's been forever since we've posted; almost exactly two weeks. I'm sorry for that, but we do have really good reasons. The first I'd have to say would be my new job. Holy cow am I busy! Busier than I ever imagined I would be. I cannot find enough time in the day to do anything other than school work and Jacob work! That brings me to my next reason for not posting...Jacob. Our little rascal has been sick for the past week and a half and has just, in the last day, showed signs of being almost completely over his sinus and ear infections. I had to stay home with him for two days as he had a fever and wouldn't let me set him down at all. He even found himself in our bed for quite a few nights! What an awful and helpless feeling! He screamed and screamed and screamed some more. While talking to my mom one evening last week, we reminisced of Jacob's first week after being born. Screaming, screaming, not being able to put him down, not sleeping, crying, all of those wonderful moments found their way back into our heads and reminded Scott of why he's sure he doesn't want another baby! I do have to admit though, it was nice to have a baby for a while who actually wanted to snuggle with me! That's a first for us!
Anyway, Jacob's back to playing and getting into everything and it's been wonderful to see him back to himself.
So, here's some pictures of our not-so-little dude who is getting very comfortable with standing while both holding onto something and not holding onto something. He gets braver and braver everything day!
Thanks for checking in on us and for being so patient!

It is so funny how different they look when they are standing!! He looks so grown up. Sorry to hear he has been sick, hopefully all is better now. Not much new here, Mark has applied at Western and Matt is still deciding, he wants to go to U of I at Chicago, but I'm not quite sure that is going to happen.
Anyway, next thing you know you'll be thinking about colleges for Jacob. Enjoy him now, it truely doesn't last long.

Yay Jacob! Watch my video and I'll show you how to walk and lunge!
Kimmy what new job? Where are you teaching? Congratulations!!
Hey I like where you keep your toys! Good idea! Should do that with James' since he is always digging in there taking out movies.
Oh my gosh! He looks six months older!! I wonder if he'll be walking by Thanks-Christmas!
Sorry you've been so busy. At least you have a good reason for not updating your blog often...mine is just apathy in the evenings after getting home from work!
It takes awhile to juggle the job and the kids, but as organized as you are, you'll get down! Hang in there and we can't wait to see him in November!
Love You All!

By the way, Kim, that second picture looks like he's just seen something that he'll be seeing a therapist for in twenty years!!
Also, quick question: why does the time posted reflect est vs cst? I just noticed that! Does anyone know how to change that?
Oh, my, aren't we getting big there,Jacob??Just getting used to
standing on my own but having something to hang onto sure makes it easier. All things come to he
who waits as some wise man remarked!
Glad to hear he's feeling better and beginning to get into things
again.
Kelly, the answer to your question is that est=eastern standard time
and cst is central time and your computer should change to your time
automatically. Since Kori lives in
Indiana, she would have est and you can't change it, depends on where you live, I think.
Glad to hear Jacob's feeling better. Great pixs too. Have his eye teeth come in anymore? Can't wait to see his smile when they do. I bet he will be walking soon! What fun!
