No, Jacob didn't buy any cattle, but I think he wouldn't have minded to. Cattle auctions have kept us occupied the past two weekends. First, on the tenth, we sold two heifers on Rydeen's production sale and helped throughout the day. Jacob didn't get to attend this sale for long as the temperatures were way below zero and bitter cold! You can see the steam from the cattle in a couple of the pictures below. On the sixteenth, the day of Nordlund's sale, it was around 25 degrees out so Jacob spent the entire day sitting on a friend's lap, watching the cows go through the ring. He thoroughly enjoyed the day! I anticipated he would be antsy, however he proved me wrong. He was completely enthralled with the auction and we had many compliments on how well behaved he was.
I would love to write more about our last couple of weeks, but it's close to bedtime and I can't stay up much longer!

This is one cute boy!!!! I can't believe that you worried about whether you would have a cute child!! I am wondering, though, is this Stormy Kromer hat too little, too?
At this point, it's hard to even think about him doing anything in his life that doesn't have to do with cattle. He just looks so much like a little cattleman!!!

I had no idea that carharts came in such a small size, but he looks right at home in them!!!
