We're hoping it will be a fun summer for Jacob in the tractor and with the cattle as well! This year, he'll hopefully get to hang out with Daddy and Grandpa a bit and get a taste of farming with a real tractor and not just ones 1/16 the regular size. We're considering getting a couple of pigs for Jacob to take to the fair as well. He couldn't get enough of the pigs at the fair last year and was really brave in the pen with them. We'll see if he shows the same bravery this year with his own!
I've posted a variety of pictures and a video, but the main purpose of this post was to announce to everybody that Jacob has apparently decided to live as the boy in a plastic tub! While playing with his blocks one afternoon, he discovered that he fit, with not much room to maneuver, under the plastic tub that stores the blocks. He played and played with a couple of blocks under the tub until he wanted some different ones. He'd then scoot to some different blocks that caught his eye, squeeze his arm under the tub, and pull the new blocks into his new little world! This not only entertained him for some time, but Scott, Kendall, and I found it amusing to watch as well!
The video below is to show our never-ending efforts to get Jacob to say "Kori". As most of you know, for some reason, whenever Jacob is asked to say "Kori", he responds with, "Neigh!" as though we were asking what the horse says. It also puzzles us because Jacob pronounces our friend, Kari's, name extremely well! A few days ago, Scott and Kendall somehow got Jacob to say something similar to "Kori", though it sounds an awful lot like "Kelly"! I regret to report however, that since this video, Jacob has reverted back to calling Kori, "Neigh". We won't give up, Kori! Promise!
Thanks for checking in! God bless! Scott, Kim, and Jacob
Jacob received a fun bucket and shovel set filled
with goodies from Nick and Amy's family!
Jacob must think the shovel could double as a very large spoon!

He was so close! I can really hear Kari and Kelly! He is probably frustrated with you thinking that he is saying Kori over and over! Thank you for not giving up! THat was a really good picture of the two of you on Easter morning!
Thanks for all the fun pics and video!
Love Kori, aka Neigh!
Jacob is all boy. Love the tub. What an ingenius idea! He has quite an imagination. Good picture of you with Jacob. We've got lots more rain today. The grass is green and growing very fast. Happy spring planting.

Great pictures, Kim!!! I love the way he huddles under the tub --- maybe you should get a bigger one so he would have more room! After you told me the story about him doing this, I pictured him having more room in the tub! Karen says Ella takes one of those tubs, turns it on its shorter side, and sits in it to watch TV!!! We've got some crazy cousins in this family!!!
Love your Easter picture and we always love seeing the videos and hearing Jacob talk!
gosh what a cutie pie! the boys here also like playing under laundry baskets and the lego tote!! they also like shovels as spoons! very cute! you all looked so nice in easter!
You know I think I had seen news stories about people that let their kids play in plastic tubs
Jacob Arthur Anderson! You tell your mommy to post some new pictures! You skipped a whole month!!!!! And we miss your stories.
