Jacob's chillin' out on the cozy quilt that Grandma Anderson made for him! She must have had a hunch that he was going to be a boy!

Watch out Uncle Chris and Uncle Nick!! It doesn't look like there will be much room for red or blue tractors! Jacob's green collection has already started!

Grandpa and Grandma Rankin sent a beautiful cradle for Jacob! Mom and Dad love that it saves them trips up and down the stairs in the middle of the night! It didn't take Jacob long though to figure out that Mom and Dad's bed is always warm and cozy from an electric blanket! We could lay him in our bed and he'd immediately close his eyes and fall asleep. Once we would move him to the cradle, his eyes would pop open and he'd moan and groan until we put him back on our bed. What a stinker!! Now, in order for him to stay content, we have to warm his bed up with a heating pad before we lay him down. A little trick that Aunt Karen and Uncle Chris shared with us! Thanks!!

Aunt Sherry sent Jacob a swing which has been a lifesaver for Mom and Dad. Jacob likes to hang out in his swing with Dad in the office and check out all the toy tractors he'll get to dig into someday!

George Ingalls made this pull-along puppy for Jacob! What a special and unique gift! It's one of Mom and Dad's favorites!
Thank you everybody for everything you've given and done for the three of us! It's so amazing when you stop and realize what great family and friends you have!! Thanks again!!

Kim and Scott,
I got my pictures developed Thursday and shared with everyone at school. They agree with us -- Jacob is the cutest baby boy!!!! I'll be taking them to Ella's birthday party tonight and can't wait to share them with everyone. (I put them in the photo album you sent us to announce you were pregnant!!) I'll get copies for you. Keep this blog up, I agree with everyone, I check it every day. Love the ones of Jacob "sitting" in the corner of his crib. Who'd think he was only two weeks old!?!?!? Love you all, Grandma Cooper
Jacob,
Don't you worry, Uncle Chris will get you some blue tractors. Green isn't the only color for tractors!
Love you!
Aunt Karen
