As we were settling into our new room at the hospital we knew our families would be arriving any minute. What we didn't know was that Aunt Kendall had secretly made the trip to Minnesota with Grandma and Grandpa Cooper, despite the fact that she had just returned to Illinois from a visit with us two days before. She informed us that she was the representative of the Rankin sisters!
Shortly after the Illinois surprise, Grandma and Grandpa Anderson came to meet their first grandchild! You can imagine the smiles!
Saturday evening kept Jacob busy with many new visitors!
Uncle Jon has already promised Jacob to teach him everything he knows about fishing and hunting and can't wait to give him his first 4-wheeler ride!

Darci finally got a chance to hold our little screamer. He made her wait until he was ready though! He's very stubborn and definitely likes things done his way! Wonder who he gets that from? It wasn't long though before Darci was forced to swing Jacob in her hands. One of the few things that will make him even think about settling down. It makes for a good arm workout!

What a cutie!!! Congratulations!! I can't wait to see him! :) He's sure got some pretty cute expressions! I could sit there & watch babies sleep all day long! It's so amazing how they just seem to get more handsome by the second!! :)
