What a Difference a Bath Makes!

In trying to keep up with the blog standards of some of our viewers, we caught some pictures of an "emergency" bath tonight. And by "emergency" we mean the ones during which we're wondering, "Why don't they make diapers that fit all the way up a child's back?"
As difficult as these baths can seem at times when we're in a hurry to get somewhere or to get something done, we always, no matter the circumstance, end up finding them enjoyable as they put Jacob in such a tranquil and soothed state.

We have found a few times lately that Jacob will only calm down if we sit him in our arms so that he can look around. He often prefers being propped up on a pillow instead of lying on his back looking up at the ceiling. These are the times when we crowd around him as he gives us an earful of peaceful sighs and coos!

I love the pictures with his head up!!! How fun!!! Sorry about giving you a hard time about not updating the blog often enough, but as you can see from Gail's blog, we all check it all of the time to see....we DON'T care if it looks like the same pic over and over again...we enjoy just seeing him grow every day! Love you! Aunt Kelly

Kim and Scott,
These pictures are wonderful!!! I'm so glad you're letting us watch him grow, although I'm really hoping when we get up there in March, he won't be as big as we think he looks!!!! (But that belly is looking bigger than it did when I was up there!!) Hope you're getting some rest, and honestly, if baths tend to relax him, maybe he needs them as late in the evening as possible!!
Love you all,
Grandma Cooper

I love his spiked hair and he does look so calm while he is in the water! I know it is a lot of work to keep the blog up, but we do all enjoy seeing him. Even Uncle Chris pulls it up to see the new pictures. We love you and cannot wait to get there in March!

If I get my new camera by then, I'll take care of updating pix as often as possible over the baptism weekend...that way everyone back home can take 'participate virtually'....how tech geek is that!!!

He's pretty darn cute in the bibs! Did you get more than one pair? Hahaha!!;-)
