The James' meet Jacob!!

No one thought we would do it, but we did! We drove all night Tuesday to get to see Jacob and to beat the coming blizzard! Chris was determined to get me and 3 anxious little girls to Minnesota before the big snowstorm. He knew he would never hear the end of it if we didn't get to that baby first!!! We arrived at 6:oo in the morning and even though Kim and Scott knew we were on our way, we still had to wake them by knocking on the door to come and let us in! Chris had made it in a record of time of 10 1/2 hours (yea, see if all you MN travelers can beat that), so they weren't expecting us yet. As we all entered with all of our stuff, Jacob made his way out of the bedroom, by way of his daddy, to meet us and his 3 girl cousins! The girls love him, but sometimes a little too much. They want to help by covering him up, stuffing his pacifier in his mouth, hold him, and give him lots of hugs and kisses, which could possibly result in injury if Ella keeps pulling his head down to her to kiss him. Their favorite thing to do is to hold him and have their picture taken with him as you can tell from the photos. Anna keeps saying, "I just love him!" They all three just adore him and can't get enough of him, even when he is crying. They don't even mind that, unless they're trying to watch a movie - you must not interrupt their entertainment! Chris has found his hidden knack of calming babies again and I am determined to figure out what makes Jacob so upset! Our goal is to help Kim and Scott take care of him this weekend so they can get some things done and spoil him in the process as they have done with our girls when they've come and stayed with us. We are so happy to be here and to finally meet Jacob and to be a part of this weekend for him!
