Jacob had a doctor's appointment on Wednesday to get his thrush checked and to discuss his cradle cap and his dry skin! I know, what a super sensitive baby! We're going to have fun with this one in the sun! Anyway, Jacob's mouth is clearing up, his scalp is still dry (the doctor said it could possibly stay that way up until six months), and the doctor agreed with Aunt Karen and Grandma Cooper to use VaniCream on Jacob's extremely dry skin! It seems to be the only thing that works for him! Jacob was also weighed and is up to 13 pounds 5 ounces now and seems to be getting even longer! This morning after his nap, Scott found Jacob lying cross ways in his crib and said he was touching the sides with his head and toes! Of course, a couple of times, Jacob has been flipped over onto his back when we've gone to get him out of his crib also! He's really getting strong! Today he picked up a toy block made of cloth with both hands and stuck it directly into his mouth! Quite a different texture compared to the two fists that are almost a permanent fixture in his mouth these days!
Well, I'd better go get some more done in the house! It's amazing how much I can get done in a day now that we have a baby that isn't screaming nonstop! He'll actually play under his barn or in his high chair for hours which makes our lives so much easier! My house is actually getting back to being organized...sort of!!
